Fourth of July

Chelsea's boyfriend, David, came down from Seattle to visit for the 4th, and she decided to welcome him in true southern style with a chic backyard BBQ.  

She went with a simple, country feel by placing vintage doilies over a plain white table cloth and finished off the tablescape with thrifted floral print china & a pair of crystal candlesticks.  The mismatched plates were only $1 each and really added to the eclectic vibe of the party!

I made this delicious buttermilk pie that was so quick & easy but looked like it took hours to make!  It was the perfect treat before the fireworks, and I will definitely be making it again!  CLICK HERE for the recipe.
