Day of the Dead

The Day of the Dead, or Dia de los Muertos, is an annual festival celebrating the reunion of relatives who have passed away with their families. On Nov. 1 (All Saints' Day) and Nov. 2 (All Souls' Day), what might seem morbid is actually a time for celebration for many people. Brightly colored skulls and skeletons are symbolic of this unique festival and we're honoring it with these fun fashion finds!

"Rolling Bones" necklace purchased from a local artist at the Houston Arts Market in the Heights.  Talk about a conversation piece!
Black dress with a lace skull pattern on the back (purchased at Ross).
This blue dress (purchased at Langford Market) with lace sleeves is the perfect compliment for the ornate necklace.
Purchase your own Day of the Dead scarf at my Etsy shop!
